Writer’s Quote Wednesday – Break

I am taking this month (December, ’15) off for Writer’s Quote Wednesday. I will still post quotes as is my custom on this blog but I will not be participating in the weekly WQW posting as is hosted by Colleen of Silver Threading. The next few months are extremely busy for me so you may notice my posts lessen a bit in general. I believe its important to know your limits and to, as fellow blogger Whitney so eloquently put it, not to be an empty cup. If your no good to yourself you cannot be of service to others. That said, for those of you who I still owe book reviews I have not forgotten and intend to publish them either before years end or January at the latest. As for WQW, I will return in the new year time permitting, when I return from my end of the year travels.

The Release Date for Book #3 of The Stella Trilogy has been pushed back to accommodate my travel schedule. The book signing and presentation will take place in Atlanta GA on Friday, February 26, 2016. I will already be in the city for the Black History Month parade so this really works for me.

I am raising money to help purchase books in bulk since I am preparing for a large crowd. Everything else is covered but this final financial hurdle. It would mean a lot to me if you can support this work either financially or by coming out to see the presentation in person. As this year prepares to come to an end, so does the Stella Trilogy. The first major update is that I am now accepting readers for an ARC, Advanced Review Copy, of Stella Book #3 as of next month. Interracial Blog Feature Reminder for 10/29/2015 –Final Guest and Surprise Gifts

Just want to remind you to join me tomorrow for another interview on the topic of Interracial Relationships. As you know, for the rest of this month I will be posting interviews I have conducted with some individuals on their thoughts on the topic of Interracial Marriages and the role race plays in relationships in general. This feature was inspired by the release of book two in my Stella Trilogy, “Beyond The Colored Line” this summer and will post every Thursday of this month. Coming Soon

On Sunday, November 1, 2015, I will be announcing the release date for the final installment of the Stella Trilogy (The Road to Freedom: Joseph’s Story) along with its book blurb and cover reveal.

I am excited to be on the brink of having all of the books finished and ready to be made available as a set or individually. Now I can focus on book signing campaigns and events for The Stella Trilogy as a package while re-writing my first novel, whose release I have pushed back to next year sometime.

So be sure to tune into this blog and to keep your eyes on my social media for the cover release, blurb, and release date celebration of Stella Book #3. You never know, there may be some treats in store!

OK people, just for fun, which are you in this techno world?

Blogging is not included because we are all obviously addicted to blogging. OK well, some of us. I’ll choose B for 200 Alex. Before I got involved with any social media, including blogging, I was on twitter. What attracted me is the limitation. I love having to say just a few words to get the point across, re-tweeting articles and quotes. Facebook is OK but I can really do without it. To me it’s kind of noisy and crowded whereas Twitter is a lot more laid back. Then again that could be due to the awesome people who follow me. I do think without cell phones people wouldn’t be so addicted to social media but that’s another post.

Enough about me, which are you? Don’t forget to follow this Twitter Bug by the way @ahouseofpoetry. It’s the best way to keep up with me, since I do like to fly and all. (No, seriously, I have wings)
