So, as promised before I went on break, Throwback Thursday is going to now be split between 90s Throwback Jams and Throwbacks that go way back. 90s Throwbacks for those of you new to this blog will be headlined “90s Throwback Thursday Jam”. Jams going back prior to the 90s will just be headlined Throwback Thursday Jams. AND as much as I LOOVVEEE 90s love songs and as tempted as I was to post one its not really fair since it is 80s on back week lol. Yeh, Music the Great Unifier! Most of my friends were Motown, Stax or Atlantic followers I was stubbornly trying to preach West Coast ‘underground/psychedelic’.
But up against this classic, and gems like ‘Ball of Confusion’ by the Temptations, ‘Tramp’ by Otis Redding and Carla Thomas, I didn’t make much headway.

And I’ve just been reminded of Runaway Child Running Wild, which when I heard it first (on a French radio station) stopped me in my tracks.
I think I will have to put Cloud Nine on my To Get List!
