Yecheilyah (e-see-li-yah) Ysrayl is the author of the award-winning poetry collection I am Soul, The Stella Trilogy, and The Women with Blue Eyes: Rise of the Fallen, among many others. An author, book blogger, and poet, specializing in Black Historical Fiction and Poetry, she has been writing since she was twelve years old and has published fourteen books to date. A Chicago native, she is a lover of travel, red wine, and laughing until her stomach hurts. Currently residing in the Atlanta area with her husband, she hopes to visit Accra, Ghana, and Cairo, Egypt, one day.
