You Are Not for Everyone

The more I value myself the more I realize a daunting truth: Not everyone deserves to know me. In the words of Rudy Francisco: “Some people will take until you have nothing left, and then hold a grudge against your hands for being empty.”

  1. Like everyone else has said, this is true. I just can’t understand why people couldn’t realize this sooner.

          1. I’m about to be 19. That’s why I don’t understand why people took so long to learn that. I know I’m young, but that’s just something that bothered me since my mom taught me years ago

  2. Someone else said “Amen” first so I’m obligated to say something different. We’re all better off when we worry less about pleasing others and walk in our own truth.
